FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

DO YOU OFFER A LIFETIME WARRANTY?

We offer a limited lifetime warranty on the craftsmanship, stitching and hardware for the life of your product(s). The limited lifetime warranty would apply to the standard life of your goods, not your lifetime. If you have any issues with your product(s), please send us some pictures and let us know what has happened. If we deem your product to be fault of poor craftsmanship, or a technical issue that is out of your control, we ask that you ship the item back at your expense, and we will personally service or replace your product free of charge. We do not warranty against standard wear and tear (leather aging over time), lack of conditioning or carelessness. For tips on how to properly maintain your goods, please keep reading.

HARDWARE AND ITEMS NOT MADE IN SHOP

We use an array of different types of hardware on our items, everything from snaps, buckles, and fasteners. We do our best to select the best quality versions of these products that we can, however there is always the potential for these items to fail, we will do our best to stand behind this hardware. When it comes to wear on a black finish, this is NOT something we warranty as this is considered cosmetic wear, and will not effect how your item functions. If you want to avoid this, we suggest selecting stainless steel or solid brass hardware, as these metals are solid all the way through, with no risk of the finish flaking off over time.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET MY LEATHER PRODUCTS?

If you are ordering a product that is made to order in the online store, you can expect your item to ship within 1-2 weeks. For any custom orders, every project is completed in the order that it is received. Upon receiving your payment, you will be given a timeline for the completion of your order (This timeline is only a rough estimate and subject to change).

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

We are able to accept most forms of payment such as: Credit Card, Cash, PayPal or E-Transfer. If you are based in Canada, E-Transfer is the preferred method, as this typically does not cost any money to send or receive through most banks.

WHEN DO I PAY YOU?

All custom orders are paid up front in full, there are no exceptions to this. Upon approval of your items design, an invoice will be sent to you to review and pay. This is done to cover the cost of materials, my time and confirms your interest in the project.

WHAT KIND OF DESIGN CAN I PUT ON MY ITEM?

We typically like to work in the realm of tattoo flash or bold illustrative designs for our items, as this translates nicely to the carving stages and will ensure your design is readable. With that being said, we are open to creating a design that will speak best to you. Please keep in mind that we are limited to the size of your project, and some art details may have to be omitted or revised to fit on your item. We will work together with you to come up with a design that will best fit your style and taste.

WHAT KIND OF LEATHER DO YOU SOURCE?

All vegetable tanned leather is sourced from Thoroughbred Leather, while wallet interiors, lining weights and chrome tanned leathers come from various sources throughout the world, all to the highest degree of quality. While we do typically deal only in premium leathers, different leather can be sourced for an array of budgets.

HOW DO I TAKE CARE OF MY PRODUCTS?

Vegetable tanned leather is some tough stuff and can handle most elements, but like most leather goods, proper care is needed from time to time. All of our products leave the shop with a combination of oils and waxes to protect the surface, but over time these finishes can wear off. For reconditioning your goods through use, we recommend that you use our Victorymade Leather Balm, or a dressing of your choice. If you have any questions or concerns about the dressing you are considering, please feel free to reach out to us directly. If your leather is getting some heavy use, or is starting to appear dry, we would recommend conditioning it right away and we can help you to make a plan of action.

CAN YOU WORK WITHIN A BUDGET?

All projects that we take on, typically have a price range associated with them, but with custom work, there is often not one set price. Depending on what you are after, certain items can be revised or modified to meet a potential budget, within reason. This is especially true if you'd like to simplify one of our current designs to meet a more minimalistic appearance. If we believe that the changes are substantial and may jeopardize the quality, function or how the item will wear over time, we will notify you of this before getting to work.
